Archer Alec is a simple castle defense game that gets straight to the point. You play as an archer named Alec and your sole purpose is to defend your castle from an endless wave of goblins and trolls – until your last breath. At your disposal, you have a kickass bow and an assortment of traps, both of which can be upgraded. As Alec, you must be creative with your limited resources in order to survive as long as humanly possible. The idea then is simple: Kill monsters, make gold, purchase upgrades, kill some more and survive. Don’t be fooled by the simplicity of this game. Your survival gets tougher as you progress through the game.
Archer Alec demo is already in a decent playable state. The gameplay is very smooth. The UI is simple and to-the-point. Controls are easy to get used to. However, it does need some work in order to polish it a bit further. This is what the Kickstarter campaign is aiming to do. Campaign funds will be going towards more coding, music composition and art along with adding even more monsters, traps and biomes will be added.
Assuming the campaign goes smoothly, PC version of Archer Alec will be your for just $3. You also have a chance to help make it in to a game you want to see. The creator of this game, Daniel is collecting feedback on what kind of features you would like to see in this game.
